Move Over Mulled Wine, Make Hot Sangria

This is a perfect chilly weather drink and works well for entertaining. The fruit has a delicious jam-like quality and can be served for dessert. Wines that pair well are merlot, grenache, or zinfandel. For a buzz-free version, use cranberry or pomegranate juice. Peppermint Hot Chocolate Recipe & Mug Mindfulness Practice

This is an unconventional way to infuse tea, but it works! Simply pour the hot chocolate mixture over the tea bags into a mug and use a milk frother to add foam to the hot chocolate mixture. If you don’t have one, a blender will also work, but be mindful of the hot milk and be careful not to burn yourself. Note: Cacao powder has a richer flavor than cocoa powder, but either will work in this recipe. Add as little or as much sweetness with the maple syrup as you like.

Soft Gingerbread Cookies & Easy Ginger Tea Latte

This recipe is my take on traditional gingerbread. They are shaped like Marranitos, Mexican gingerbread pig cookies. Marranitos are a pan dulce made with piloncillo. It doesn't contain ginger as an ingredient, so the ginger flavor comes from the Tadin Ginger Tea Blend made with ginger, orange peel, lemongrass, and licorice root.
