Do you start living the life you know you were meant to live?
It starts with taking better care of yourself. Because the better you take care of yourself, the better you can take care of the ones you love.
In my coaching practice I can meet you wherever you are in your journey. But I ask that you do the work that needs to be done. Clients don’t hire me because they want to stay the same. They hire me because they want to feel better, look better, lose their baby weight, be comfortable having sex with their partner, be less anxious, or have better digestion, to name just a few reasons.
Some of my clients have to make big changes, others work on fine-tuning what they are already doing. Either way, it’s work and no matter what you weigh or what size jeans you wear, we all can use reminders to take better care of ourselves. Just the fact that you’re reading this page shows that you care about your health and well-being.
Before I had my daughter Ella, I ate healthily, exercised regularly and generally took good care of myself. But after she was born, those healthy practices flew right out the window. I know first-hand how easy it is to forget to take care of yourself after you have a baby, what it’s like to binge on sugar and salty snacks, to eat cold pizza standing in front of the refrigerator, and to feel like you don’t have time for even a five-minute walk. After Ella was born I remember living my life in a haze. She had colic and did not sleep through the night until after her first birthday. I was stressed out, exhausted, and physically and emotionally depleted from having an emergency C-section. I was also commuting over two hours from New Jersey to New York City to teach cooking classes, plus trying to keep up with regular life—those floors weren’t going to mop themselves!
I had an aha moment when I started following Rebecca of Little Mother’s Helper during her Kickstarter. If you don’t know of Rebecca or her work, she has a postpartum deck of cards and companion app that focuses on healing mothers post birth. In one of our email exchanges I told her about my insane sugar cravings and she suggested replacing the sugar with protein. That little suggestion just clicked for me, and I decided to start focusing on clean eating and self-care. Not only did I need to do it for myself, I needed to do it for my family and to save my relationship with my husband!
It has become my mission to help other women truly nourish themselves and to take care of themselves the best way they can. This is so personal for each of my clients, since no two people are the same. I come up with a customized plan for you to live your healthiest life and we work together towards reaching this goal. This may mean cleaner eating, shifting responsibilities with your partner, balancing work more effectively, practicing being a more mindful mama, making time for exercise and connecting with your partner. Please see the packages for both my health coaching and personal chef services for more information. If you have any questions, please email me firstname.lastname@example.org
I look forward to working with you!
