About Adrianna Naomi

Adrianna Naomi is a Brooklyn based bilingual Yoga Teacher (English and Spanish) who specializes in Vinyasa, Power Vinyasa, Yoga Sculpt, and Restorative Yoga. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Adrianna had taken a handful of yoga classes in college.

It wasn't until Adrianna moved to NYC in August 2013 that she developed a consistent practice. Whether it was an invigorating vinyasa class or a profoundly spiritual kundalini practice, the time Adrianna spent on her mat allowed her to tune inwards and find peace within her perceived turmoil.

Yoga brought Adrianna a sensation of "coming back home", which inspired her to deepen her practice. In June 2018 she graduated from her 200hr teacher training focused on Baptiste-inspired Vinyasa at CorePower Yoga, Williamsburg.

This training focused on postural awareness and effective teaching by using mostly the instructor's words. To achieve this, Adrianna studied anatomy, alignment, and intelligent sequencing extensively.

Adrianna has been consistently teaching since July 2018 and managed CorePower Yoga's Flatiron studio from 2019 - 2020. After COVID-19, Adrianna transitioned her class offerings online where she teaches and connects with her community via Zoom.

Adrianna's interest in anatomy, yoga physiology and biomechanics led her to pursue her 500hr Advanced Yoga Teacher Training with Jason Crandell which she will graduate from in spring 2021.

Yoga has impacted Adrianna's life in numerous ways. The physical posture practice has given her the space to explore what her body is capable of and work with the nuances surrounding the more subtle energetic aspects of herself.

"Yoga is a practice that provides us with tools to free ourselves from preconditioned patterns that lead to anguish and suffering. It invites us to honor our human experience and to face our shortcomings with compassion and acceptance.”

Through yoga, we integrate all aspects of our mind, body, and spirit to lead well-balanced lives in the support of ourselves, so that we can best serve and support others."
