Black Sesame Matcha Smoothie AKA The Smoothie I Drink Everyday
I am in love with the flavor of black sesame seeds. I put them on top of my snacks like sliced apples and bananas with almond butter. They give this smoothie a rich tahini-like flavor.
Matcha is a finely ground green tea powder. In Japan, it is traditionally made with water heated to 175°F in a tea bowl and whisked with a bamboo whisk. It gives this smoothie a caffeine boost.
I like to sip this smoothie after my morning workout. It feels super rich and is loaded with healthy fats from the chia and sesame seeds that keep me full until lunch. Plus, it's got a healthy boost of collagen.

This is a take on classic raspberry dressing, hello 1990’s. It’s delicious when paired with seasonal veggies and fruits like tomatoes, cucumbers, and peaches; fresh herbs like mint or basil; and tender greens like butterhead lettuce. Serve the dressing mixed in or on the side like I do. Garnish your salad with fresh lime wedges for squeezing over the salad. Top with cheeses like feta or cotija. Add crunch with nuts or seeds like pepitas. Always remember to season your salad with salt and pepper. It makes it taste so much better!
