DIY Orange Cleaner + My Most Popular Cleaning Videos

I started doing DIY cleaning videos on Instagram + Pinterest. I had no idea how popular they would be! So far, I have: How to Clean a Burned Pot, DIY Oven Cleaner, and the DIY Orange Cleaner

Ingredients:

1 orange, peel only (any citrus works)

White vinegar to cover

Instructions:

  1. Place the orange or citrus peels in a jar.

  2. Fill the jar with vinegar, make sure the peels are covered.

  3. Cover + let it sit for a week.

  4. Put into a spray bottle + use on your window, glass, and kitchen counters.

*WARNING: Test a small patch before you clean surfaces!

This is a take on classic raspberry dressing, hello 1990’s. It’s delicious when paired with seasonal veggies and fruits like tomatoes, cucumbers, and peaches; fresh herbs like mint or basil; and tender greens like butterhead lettuce. Serve the dressing mixed in or on the side like I do. Garnish your salad with fresh lime wedges for squeezing over the salad. Top with cheeses like feta or cotija. Strawberry Hibiscus Paleta Mocktail

These paletas come together in under a minute in the blender (minus tea brewing and chia blooming). Add a little extra agave or honey for sweeter paletas, or feel free to skip the sweetener entirely. The coconut milk makes these extra creamy, but any preferred milk will work well. Eat these palates straight up or fill a glass 3/4 of the way up with your favorite nonalcoholic rosè or flavored seltzer to make it a mocktail, and then dip the paleta in it.
