The Little Engine That Could: Eight Years in Business

On June 1, 2010, I woke up and quit my full-time personal chef job. Back then, my goal was to create an online cooking program.

I did many things to support myself to make that happen: I had a meal delivery and catering company called Red Clog Kitchen, I taught at cooking schools (I know many of you from ICE) and was a food stylist, and I also did two cooking shows—Chopped! and Cook Your Ass Off.

Entrepreneurship is not always the easiest path.

I could not have done it without the support of Ed, my family, friends, and readers like you that have been there since the beginning. I can’t thank you enough!

I am excited for the next year and I can’t wait to see what the rest of 2018 brings! BTW, eight years later, I finally launched my online cooking course: The Sunday Meal Prep Workshop.
.
PS: This week only—6/1 to 6/10—I am offering a FREE 21-Day Meal Prep Detox (worth $497) with the purchase of The Sunday Meal Prep Workshop. Yep, you read that right—100% FREE. If you want more details, email me.

Hope you have a delicious rest of your week!! Have a question? Email me hello@carlacontreras.com or DM me on Instagram.
