Tips for Keeping Produce Fresh:
1. Wash greens in a salad spinner with cold water, always put the water in first, don’t let me water beat on the greens.
Dry the greens, in the salad spinner & place in an airtight container with a dry tea towel to absorb moisture. Get the free Insta-worthy salad course here
2. Make pesto out of herbs like basil or cilantro and greens like kale or arugula.
3. Freeze your greens like spinach, kale, or Swiss chard. I use these in soups and smoothies
4. Freeze or cook berries. I love to eat warm berries over my chia overnight oats
5. Roast you veggies + blend them into a soup

Bonus:
Freeze your bread and baked goods immediately, this keeps them fresher longer.

This is a take on classic raspberry dressing, hello 1990’s. It’s delicious when paired with seasonal veggies and fruits like tomatoes, cucumbers, and peaches; fresh herbs like mint or basil; and tender greens like butterhead lettuce. Serve the dressing mixed in or on the side like I do. Garnish your salad with fresh lime wedges for squeezing over the salad. Top with cheeses like feta or cotija. Add crunch with nuts or seeds like pepitas. Always remember to season your salad with salt and pepper. It makes it taste so much better!
